SkillSoft Basic Course Library - Quick Start Guide
Step 1: Conduct a simple PC system check to make sure your PC is set up
to access the training site –
click here
Step 2: From the home page click Log In
Step 3: Enter the user name and password and Log-in:
User name: “nys” and then your network log-in name all strung together
(i.e. Jane Doe = nysjdoe
Password: elearning (unless you’re a current user who has updated his/her
password)
Step 4: Locate courses by browsing the
Catalog (top navigation), or use the
Search Engine to find course
titles. When you find a course you wish to take click Add To My Plan (this will
“save” courses to the My Plan area so they are easy to find the next time you
visit the site).
Locate eBooks by clicking on the Books 24x7 link on the top navigation.
Step 5:
Return to the My Plan page and launch your course
