NORTHstar is pleased to bring you eLearning, featuring the My SkillSource EXPRESS! online learning program.  This high quality training resource is now available free of charge to NORTHstar employees!

 

My SkillSource is a web-hosted learning site available to subscribed participants anytime, anywhere they have access to the Internet.  My SkillSource provides self-directed learning and reference opportunities to increase knowledge and skills in the areas of:

  • Desktop Software Applications

  • Interpersonal Skills

  • Organization & Time Management

  • Human Resource Management

  • Presentation Skills

  • Professional Development

  • Written Communications

  • Team Leadership

  • Conflict Management

  • Business & Political Acumen

My SkillSource EXPRESS! participants can register for over 1000 self-study tutorials and online instructor-led courses.  Many courses include skill assessments which assist individuals by building a personalized learning plan.  Students have 90 days of unlimited access to their course(s) and any included support materials, so they can retake the entire course or review specific topics as often as they want during that period.  The My SkillSource EXPRESS! course registration system encourages students to schedule time for training, which leads to greater success with eLearning.
