How to Take a Course:
There
are three different ways to search and register for courses:
1. Browse the Course
Catalog
The Course Catalog is arranged by
departments to help students find the courses of interest to them.
1. Click the
department you are interested in.
2. A list of courses
for this subject group will appear in alphabetical order.
3. Both Self-study
and Instructor-Led courses will appear.

4. Select the course
you would like to take.
2. Search for a Course
The easiest way to register for a
course is by using the search engine featured on the left-hand margin
of the My Courses page. You can either type the title of a course you
want to take, for example, “Excel”, or type a specific topic within a
course like “Pivot Tables”. The search will then bring up all
relevant courses. Or browse the Course Catalog, described below.
3. Learning Advisor
The Learning Advisor is like an
electronic Guidance Counselor. If you want to obtain a
particular skill or train for a specific certification, the Learning
Advisor will advise you on which courses to take, and in what order,
to help you obtain your goal. Learning paths are clearly mapped
out, and many have links to vendor certification websites for more
information.
The Learning Advisor is
also your gateway to Online Certifications and Skill Assessments.
These tools help you measure your skills and knowledge and your skill
gaps, so you can focus on learning new skills.
