How to Register for Instructor-Led Training
   
  Instructor-Led courses are easily identified by the apple icon
   
  1. Browse the Course Catalog to select the Course you would like to take.  When you click on the title of a course, a course overview will appear, along with objectives and the course curricula.  This information will help you decide if the course is what you are looking for.
   
  2. With the Course Syllubus open, look under Scheduled Course Offerings to see if the course is in progress or if it is scheduled to begin in the coming weeks. (If the course is not currently available, you can click the notify message and you will receive an email when registration for the course is open.)
   
 

Hint:  When browsing the course catalog or the results of a search, click on “Course Shortcuts” on the right side of the screen.  The display will change to show all of the scheduled class dates from the current view.  Those shown in red are currently in session and you can register for immediate access to the classroom.

   
  3. If the course is starting soon or in progress, you can register immediately by clicking on the registration link under Scheduled Course Offerings.
   
  4. On the Register for Class screen you will be presented with several options. You will Choose whether you would like to be a full student or if you would like to audit the class (Note that Auditing allows you to view all of the course materials and interactions but you will not be able to respond or receive communications with the instructor and other students.) Click Register. You will then see a confirmation of the registration. 
   
 

Hint: You will be presented with the option to purchase the course workbook.  You can skip this if you are auditing the class but will not be able to complete the reading assignments.  Or, you can purchase the book with your credit card.  It will arrive in 2-3 business days.  Note that many course workbooks are now available electronically in the Resource Center.
   
  5. Return to the My Courses page and you’ll see that the courses you registered for will appear under Current Courses
   
  6. Click Enter Classroom to begin your course
